Discover who feeds your community.
Every day, thousands of people cook, produce, sell and exchange food near you. MIYITAS connects them to strengthen the local economy, bring neighbors together and make your community’s talent visible.
The community already exists. It just needed connecting.
In every neighborhood there are people who prepare food at home, grow in small gardens, produce by hand, sell at local markets or help those who need it most. For years, those connections relied on word of mouth. MIYITAS makes them visible so anyone can discover them, support them and become part of a community that grows by sharing.
Everything that feeds a community, in one place.
MIYITAS connects people, small producers, entrepreneurs, businesses, organizations and governments so food circulates more easily and reaches those who need it.

We are the Amber Economy.
MIYITAS is more than a platform: it is the Amber Economy in practice — a framework that understands food as life infrastructure and measures the value a community creates when it connects.
Five variables. One impact.
Every interaction in MIYITAS generates Amber Impact, measured across five dimensions:
Nutrition
The food access your community gains.
Environment
The food value preserved in your territory.
Economy
The money that keeps circulating in your neighborhood.
Social
The bonds, plans and recipes that bring people together.
Territory
The stories that show and celebrate your place.
They are not points or rewards. It is measurement: the real value your community creates, made visible.
The Amber Economy is a framework developed by Dr. Karen Brugés —Global Chair of the G100 for the Zero Hunger Mission (2024) and speaker at the Paris Peace Forum (2023)— together with Dr. Mónica Colín de Velázquez, both members of the G100. The framework is set out in the book Food Impact Economy: Towards an Amber Economy.
